Welcome! I’m Chelsea Jacobsen.

In 2019, I started helping friends with their design and renovation projects. I never imagined that my passion for design, which had been kindling since adolescence, would blossom into a professional interior design business — that sharing friendly opinions and recommendations would evolve into virtual interior design services for clients across the U.S., and even expand to include new home builds. 

As a child growing up in a disordered and unstable household, I was deeply impacted by persistent turmoil outside of my control. So when my mom let me paint my bedroom walls as a teenager (a deep, broody color that now raises my blood pressure), I tasted the satisfaction of controlling even one small part of my surroundings. 

Today, I’m the mother of two boys, and alongside my husband, I’ve created an environment for them that feels safe, light, and disarming — as home should feel. Now my mission is to pair thoughtful, beautiful design with creative problem-solving to guide you along a rejuvenating transformation of your own.   

I specialize in organic modern design. I find it easy on the eyes and soothing to the soul. I love that this style, which uses natural tones, textures, and materials to mimic the calming effect of nature, is versatile and easily adapted to meet my clients’ unique needs for both elegance and function. 

But I understand that home design is uniquely personal, so I spend time getting to know your aesthetic preferences and the particular needs of your busy lifestyle. Then I bring these together to give you a space that captures your personality with class, comfort, and practicality. Because in the end, your space should reflect everything that’s special about you — not your designer. As a one-woman operation, I’m selective about the projects I take on at any given time — so when you work with me, you can expect a personal touch and a collaborative, boutique experience.
